About

Bayview House was built in the mid 1920s as a traditional stone constructed croft house.   It has been in the Campbell family ever since.  In 2009 the house was tastefully upgraded internally while still maintaining many of the original features. It has arguably one of the best views on Skye overlooking Fiscavaig Bay and beyond to the Macleods Tables. The bedrooms and living areas all have a sea view.

The house is on two floors. Front entrance is into a porch which is allocated for wet clothing and walking boots.

Downstairs has a living room with an original fireplace which can be used on cold winter nights! There is TV, DVD player and CD player. The kitchen is equipped with cooker/hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, tumble dryer and microwave oven. The dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and has a dining table and a sofa bed which could sleep another two guests. There is a family bathroom which has both a separate shower and bath included.

Upstairs is a further shower room with toilet and washbasin. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedded room at each end of the house. In between is a long narrow room with a single bed which would be more suited as a child’s bedroom. The rooms are tastefully furnished bringing together the old and new.
